8 Chairs Spotted on the Boerum Hill House Tour

Boy oh boy, do I love how an official neighborhood house tour lets you take a look at how the folks around you live. (You know, as opposed to all those unofficial sneak peeks one may take in an open window or open door as you casually pass by. Not that I would ever DO that. You know, officially.)

Sunday, I got the chance to step inside a few of the homes near me in the Boerum Hill House and Garden Tour. I always find it fascinating to see digs in Brooklyn, especially since we tend to have spaces that are tall and narrow (brownstone living and all). I didn't have the right camera lenses on me to get pics of the rooms in each home overall, but I did take several of the chairs that I discovered. (Because who doesn't love a great chair?) Here are a few that I spied--heavy emphasis on the mid-century modern.

Black and White and Brooklyn

I've run one of these photos before (the parachuting police car, but who's counting?). But it fit so nicely in a miniseries of things that are black and white in my neighborhood. I especially like that random single Lego up top. What does that even mean?

Brooklyn always looks good wearing autumn.
