Cutest Gift Toppers Ever

Last week, I wrote about these cute paper balls from Paper + Cup Press that I learned to make at an event with my friend Kristin Appenbrink. I had a hunch that they'd make great bows on Christmas gifts, so as soon as I started wrapping, I started experimenting. And I'm loving the results! Head over to Kristin's entry at RealSimple.com for details on how to make them (it's way easier than you think). To make them into bows, all you have to do is use a shorter piece of string to hold the paper together, fluff one side (not both like you do for the balls), and then use tape to attach a few of the "petals" to the package. Christmas cuteness!

I love those - they are so cute hanging in a room too.

One also turned out to be entertainment for Amy's 11 week old nephew on Christmas day. He really enjoyed touching it as Amy held him on her lap while holding a gift with one of the paper balls in front of him.

Yay! Amy, those are so lovely! And you say you're not crafty. Pshaw.
