Greenhouse Eco-Friendly Living

I'm pretty sure that Greenhouse Eco-Friendly Living in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood is out to prove that you can be planet-friendly and still be plenty chic. The home furnishings and accessories store is

filled with beautiful wood pieces, glassware, tabletop items, bath products, and yummy linens that I could have piled high in my arms and lugged straight home.

It's gorgeous stuff.  And I love that it's a little local store with a big mission to save the world.

It’s a sign

I'd say that, if someone somewhere decided to do research on my shopping habits, they'd come up with a statistic that states something like: "Amy is 86% more likely to enter and make a purchase in a venue that displays its name on an old-timey-but-very-modern wooden sign above its storefront."

And that's probably why it's a bad idea for someone like me to live in my neck of the woods. Check out some of the Brooklyn stores, restaurants, and bars trying to tempt my wallet and me on a daily basis. Then follow me inside and slap that credit card out of my hand, for chrissakes.
