Pops of Purple

You know what I dig? When people post small bits of art in unexpected places. Like in this bottom pic of a landscape print I spied plastered on the wall around a construction site on Atlantic Avenue. It's so random and oddly lovely.

(It's also a portrait of a place that's free of big, view-restricting buildings--one that would never require anyone to wear a hard hat.) (Or am I just overthinking it? Maybe I'm the one who needs the protective headgear...)

On Lockdown

On Sundays, several stores, parking areas, and schools are closed for the day--and suddenly Brooklyn seems overrun with padlocks.
