Sometimes I worry that my big-girl camera might start getting jealous of my iPhone. And that's because I've been spending a lot of time taking photos with its Instagram app lately.

I downloaded the app eons ago, but it's only been recently that I've really gotten into it. I dig its, er, instant gratification and its super-cool filters. Plus, it's so much easier to have the relatively teeny phone on my person rather than the heavy body of my DSLR. Not that I'd ever, ever trade the two; I'm just loving the convenience right now.

P.S. Incidentally, the lady in the top photo on the far right on the stairs is Barbara Walters. I spied her at MoMA this week. Actually, I spied her electric purple fedora first--no kidding, it was STUNNING--then realized it was her (took me a sec...she had her hair in a pony tail). I was very impressed. That hat was killer. Go lady go.
